The problem

As the UK’s leading Pay As You Go energy supplier, it’s vital that Utilita customers can top-up around the clock. If the DCC goes offline and they lose that functionality, vulnerable people can’t heat their homes.

The solution

We worked with Utilita to develop a service to allow them to process customer top-ups and bypass the DCC entirely. Our innovative tech now helps generate UTRNs, and send them to their SMETS1 meters directly, with a 99.9% success rate.
